Fauna does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that receive your information. The app works fully offline.
The optional Smart Auto-Calm feature uses your device's microphone, with your permission, solely to detect a bark or meow on your device and automatically play a calming sound. All listening happens live on your device. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted, and nothing leaves your phone. You can use the rest of the app without granting microphone access.
The optional one-time Fauna Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.
The app is rated 4+ and, as described above, collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
